Updates about HK trip

well well, this corridor is the corridor of where im gonna stay in HK. its not a hotel but a hostel. looks nt bad rite? i was surfing the net this wkend for hk info.. n i've decided to stay in this hostel call 'Eastspider Hostel'..

Check out the rooms!!! Not too bad hor?? machiam like 3 star hotel hor??

i tink if its reali like tis, im okie with it. afterall its jus a 3 nites stay n i'll be out the whole day.

n it cost HKD 860 only!! For 2!! =)

n it comes with a personal bathroom. the price will be even lower if u opt for a shared bathroom but since he doesn like it and wans more personal space, i opt for the private one.

after converting to SGD, it cost approximately abt $176. so the total cost for us for this trip is $869!!! which means its only $430 per person!! cheap rite?? n im gonna take the earliest flight there at 6.40am so tat i have more time to visit HK!! yeah~~!!

comparing to the cheapest package i found fr SA Tours, theirs was $591 per pax on Cathay Pacific, 10.20am flight n staying in a 3 star hotel. if i were to take this flight, by the time i rch hk, i reckon its abt dinner time.. at least my current one allows me to have lunch there and save $161 which can jolly well pay for my Ocean Park tix there + a meal.

Sth to share with your oso is tat, next time when u guys go travelling, it might be a better choice to change your SGD over the banks there.

this sth which my sis told me n i check out the dbs and uob hk websites. Indeed, their exchange rate is much better than any of our money changers here.

the best rate i've asked so far is 4.89 but dbs is at 4.95 and uob is 4.96!! c the difference?? im definitely gg over there to change my HKD. every cent counts k? ;)

anyway aft i land in HK and settle down in my hostel, i shall make my way to Lantau Island cos i believe if i go in the wkend, it'll be too packed n i dun like it..

This the Giant Buddha at the Po Lin Monastery @ Lantau Island whereby i will go for a vegetarian meal there as well..

Following next, i'll proceed on to the wisdom path..

Wonder if walkin through tis wisdom path will increase my wisdom anot.. hahaha.. *-*'"

Then, i'll go to Tai O fishing village and experience a different type of lifestyle and probably buy their famous shrimp paste and salted fish!!! lol... =)

Hope i'll be able to complete this 3 places in an afternoon cos they are basically a walk through.. take photos.. tats all..

as for the nite time, im still tinkin if i shld head down to Lan Kwai Fong or the Causeway Bay @ Wan Chai cos its oso a nitelife area there..

Lan Kwai Fong is in the Central area so im tinkin i shld go there after gg to The Peak which is oso at the Central area which will be more convenient..

My iteinary planning is still in the process n im mid way through.. basically, i've noted down all the places tat i wana go to.. be it sight-seeing, shopping or eating.. i've source out a few bargain shoppin areas n im all prepared to start my shoppin spree!! yeah~~!!

i cant wait to go 'buy things, eat things'!! ahahahah..

heard of the famous dessert shop, Xu Liu Shan which is all over the streets so im definitely nt gonna give that a miss!! n if i happen to bump into QQ riceball, i'll oso grab a riceball from them too!! Not forgetting the hot lemon coke and macoroni soup which i had when i was in HK many years back n i m still tinking abt it till nw cos its reali damn nice lor...!!

reali cant wait for this day to come!! yeah~~!!
